About me

If you didn’t catch who I am, I’m Gayle, a content designer living in Santa Fe, NM.

I’ve been writing stories and essays since I can remember. In graduate school, it progressed to something a little more, eh, technical, and I studied Technical Communication. That’s where I first came across the concept of user experience (UX). I loved it so much that I spent most of my time studying and practicing UX research.

I landed my first job in tech as a technical writer. It naturally evolved into UX writing as more help and thoughtful navigation was developed in the interface. I loved it and stuck with the progression from engineering teams to design teams, bringing my research and writing skills with me.

I’m a lifelong learner and try to grow and stretch any way I can. I read, I ask, I take courses. UX as a field isn’t going anywhere, but it’s also going to continue to change. I’m here for it.
